Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 May 2026
Belvagio ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our websites at belvagio.vip and belvagio.shop (our checkout domain) or participate in our competitions.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and shipping address when you purchase tickets or enter our competitions. Payments are processed securely by Whop, our third-party payment provider. We do not store your card or payment details. We also automatically collect certain information about your device, including IP address, browser type, and browsing behaviour on our site.
Where you have given consent to analytics cookies, we also collect and store a Google Analytics client identifier (a pseudonymous ID generated by your browser, stored in a cookie named _ga). This identifier is shared between belvagio.vip and belvagio.shop so we can understand the full journey from browsing a competition to completing a purchase. When you place an order, this identifier is saved alongside your order record in our database so we can attribute the purchase to the correct session in our analytics. If you decline analytics cookies, no identifier is generated and none is stored.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process your ticket purchases and deliver prizes
- To contact you if you win a competition
- To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in
- To improve our website and competition offerings
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Legal Basis
We process your data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Our legal bases include performance of a contract (processing your orders), legitimate interests (improving our services), and consent (marketing communications).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with payment processors (Whop), delivery partners for prize fulfilment, and analytics providers (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) where you have provided consent. Our checkout flow runs on belvagio.shop and shares the same analytics identifier as belvagio.vip so that a single session is recognised across both domains; both domains are operated by Belvagio under this Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Transaction and order records: 6 years (UK tax and legal obligations)
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
- Analytics data in Google Analytics: 14 months
- Google Analytics client identifier stored alongside an order in our database: kept with the order record for as long as the order is retained, then deleted
- Account data: until you request deletion
To request deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected].
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to the data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to processing or request restriction
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully
7. Cookies
We use essential, analytics, and marketing cookies with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
8. Contact
